Day 1: Arrival in Coffee Country & Belur Hoysala Temple
Drive toward Chikmagalur via Hassan. Stop at the UNESCO-listed Chennakeshava Temple in Belur to admire the world’s most intricate 12th-century stone carvings. Arrive in Chikmagalur, check in to your coffee estate bungalow, and enjoy freshly brewed coffee amidst mountain silence.
Day 2: Mullayanagiri Peak & Sacred Baba Budangiri
Early morning ascent to Mullayanagiri Peak, the highest summit in Karnataka (1,930 m): climb the stone steps to the summit temple for breathtaking cloud-top panoramas. Continue along the mountain ridge to the sacred shrine of Baba Budangiri and take a Jeep detour to Jhari (Buttermilk) Falls.
Day 3: Hirekolale Lake & Coffee Bean Shopping
Morning visit to Hirekolale Lake, a quiet mountain reservoir reflecting the Mullayanagiri ridge. Tour the Coffee Museum in Chikmagalur town to understand bean cultivation and curing. Shop for freshly roasted estate coffee before your return journey.
