Surrounded by dense deciduous forests along the roaring Kali River in northern Karnataka, Dandeli is the premier adventure playground of South India. Renowned for exhilarating Class III white water rafting, kayaking, natural river jacuzzis, and dense wildlife sanctuaries, Dandeli attracts adventure lovers, college groups, and corporate offsite teams.
The Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary is also one of the few places in India where all four species of hornbills—including the majestic Great Pied Hornbill and the Malabar Pied Hornbill—can be seen in abundance.
Our 3-day itinerary combines adrenaline-pumping river sports with peaceful jungle lodge relaxation.

Day 1: Arrival in Dandeli & Kali River Natural Jacuzzi
Drive from Goa (Dabolim/Mopa) or Hubli to Dandeli. Check in to your jungle lodge or riverside tented camp. Head out for an afternoon natural river jacuzzi bath in the rapids of the Kali River, followed by kayaking and an evening campfire under the stars.
Day 2: White Water Rafting & Syntheri Rocks Geological Marvel
Spend the morning on a thrilling 12 km white water rafting expedition tackling Class II and III rapids on the Kali River guided by certified river masters. In the afternoon, visit Syntheri Rocks—a monolithic 300-foot granite canyon carved by the Kaneri River with thousands of pigeon nesting cavities.
Day 3: Shiroli Peak Panorama & Departure
Early morning hike up to Shiroli Peak, the highest point in Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary, for sweeping views across the mist-shrouded Sahyadri ranges. Enjoy a hearty local breakfast before your return transfer to Hubli or Goa.
